Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Plenty of ups and downs for me here, but overall it wasn't bad. Unfortunately I have to say that I did lose focus quite a few times in the vid and ended up missing and rewatching some parts. It might have been that it felt a little long or maybe its because I'm a bit tired right now.
Tracks that I can remember liking off the top of my head were Mamo's School Rumble one and ZetZu's Ef one.
There were a few cases where I felt that some tracks needed to follow the pace of the song a bit more. Niwa's Sola part was one of the ones where this stood out particularily - not to pick on you or anything, just that it was the last track so I remembered it pretty well.
Credits were really interesting =D
But hey, who cares what I say - as long as you guys had fun its all good =)

and plz no more fighting on this thread, it just makes everyone upset

Well as a whole, I appreciate the work put into it and the editting. I really enjoyed some tracks like the Vampire Knights one. But I didn't really enjoy the MEP, that's not to say its bad, but its to be expected that a lot of people won't be able to enjoy this because its 20mins of repetitive music which mainly stays on one level. My own solution is to bring this into premiere and export it out in 5 parts then watch each part at different times
Anyway well done on the effort put into this. Not sure how much work was put into the design of the credits but Pas's drawing distracted me from whatever else was there =P

Oh and before I forget. Well done on the anime choices. For the love of god I wish that all MEP coordinators can influence the variety of choices seen in this instead of the same 1996-2001 anime we see over and over again.

It'd probably be safe to say the whole opinion thing was mostly joke, most of us don't take the opinion system seriously anymore. I know I don't. I left my op mainly just to see what everyone else was saying, just to find out they pretty much did what I did. go figure :O
Personally I think all this elitist accusations/finger pointing (as a whole on the org, not just with this thread) just makes it look like Your Jealous. We all need to remind ourselves this is just a hobby, it should be enjoyable, not make people feel bad about all the work they put into it. Lets please not make chii's first mep a repeat of ayumix2 drama.
I should probably say that most people in this thread are not targets of this post, Just a few, which is good, I just dun want to see it get worse.
And with that I'm done on this subject.
Seriously tho, I have to agree the opening, and especially the ending is one of the best i;ve seen in meps over the years. Chii and pass deserve major props for that.

My 3d for CCS was kinda amaturish aterall, even if it took longer to make. chiis stuff looks very profesional.Ghet wrote:its so much better than that shitty cardcaptor sakura one for ayumix 2, right? =DBakadeshi wrote: Seriously tho, I have to agree the opening, and especially the ending is one of the best i;ve seen in meps over the years. I just wanted to say thank you, to everyone who participated - you guys did an awesome job with your tracks, and it was a lot of fun seeing everything come together. It was also nice getting a chance to edit with this kind of dance music, a bit of a first on my part.
Although Yue and Mamo's tracks were among my top favorites, I really enjoyed this project as a whole. Mindless, random, upbeat videos can be so much fun - great job on this, you guys. Thanks again
And Deshi, your 3D stuff is always cool
