  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Did anyone mention that it was too fast yet? It was hard to focus on scenes because they flew by too fast, even for a fast-paced video that was a bit too much.
I general it was hard to get into the Video, but once I did I actually thought it was pretty cool. Some nice nifty Ideas (such as the calendar thing, that was totally cool) here and there.
...and I was seeking the comments to give a simpel x² and here it is! x²

I can´t get into it and I guess I found out that maybe I´ll never get into this kind of 3D style. My big problem with this video is that you sync the god damn guitar riffs and that makes it just too fast for me. Why is it so hectic? I miss some mood sync or more attention on... well just everything else that doesn´t want to be synced. Do you understand me? I believe that videos don´t need constant plain syncing to things. There can be just more and just less. One of my friends said that he misses editors who have the balls to drop some syncing beats or parts just to achive a different kind of flow.

I also think that you should pay more attention on some things. Even if I didn´t watched it as carefull as I watch betas, I saw glitches in the background like obvious ends of the texture.
You can find me on YT under "Bauzi514". Subscribe to never miss my AMV releases. :amv:

I thought this was definitely different from other 5cm amvs.

What you did with the text, motion and calender was damn good.

Anyways, good stuff man

OMG. I expected this to be different, but WHOA! :O That was a really cool video. Synch was totally in place, and the whole paper theme was seamlessly done. Got the upbeat feeling too. Gewdjorb!

At some parts it felt like you lacked some happier scenes to match the mood of the song, imo. But still, I liked this one quite a lot, very original and well edited.

I general it was hard to get into the Video, but once I did I actually thought it was pretty cool. Some nice nifty Ideas (such as the calendar thing, that was totally cool) here and there. Yeah, overall it was actually rather enjoyable.
Thanks! I wanted it to be fast, and personally I'm satisfied with the pacing of it, but I can easily see why you (and several others) have complained about the speed of the video.

Thanks everyone! Sorry to do a mass-reply thing, but it's easier on me this way :P I'm glad you all took the time to watch it and leave feedback! Thank you!

Yeah, that definitely would have been cool. It also probably would have upped my render time even more x_X

My first thought back then was omg I'm gonna get sick, and now that I've watched it again my head kinda hurts x.X
The video is really original and very well made, but it's just a little too fast for me and thus makes me a bit sick somehow Confused
But overall it's a pretty cool video
You're not the first person to say this made them a little sick :P Sorry that happened, but I'm glad you still enjoyed it!

Aww, sorry guys. Thanks for watching anyway!
Bauzi wrote:Why is it so hectic?
Because that's what I was going for. I wanted something upbeat and fast and visually fun. I realize that that's subjective, but to me the video is really fun to watch because it's so fast and the sync keeps up throughout the whole thing. This isn't meant to be a drama video, it's...well, fun! You don't have to like it of course, but that's the style I was going for and I did to my own satisfaction.
Bauzi wrote:I also think that you should pay more attention on some things. Even if I didn´t watched it as carefull as I watch betas, I saw glitches in the background like obvious ends of the texture.
Yeah, I know about the seams in the texture. I could have probably done a little better with that, but AE was frustrating me and I just wanted to be done with the video and have it uploaded, so I kinda half-assed that.

Thanks for the feedback everybody!
