I suppose mine take so long because only 10% of my time is actually spent putting the video together. The other 90% is spent planning, fiddling around with aspect ratios, framerates, color encoding and otherwise preparing the footage, adding things in Photoshop (I have to use Windows Movie Maker 2 so I can't be fancy otherwise), and generally trying to keep Movie Maker running and not freezing, outputting all the DV-AVI files with frame losses, or refusing to save as a WMV of any quality unless all the footage used is uncompressed video. It's a very stressfull process (the latter is, anyway).x_rex30 wrote: I wish I was like a lot of you here and be able to edit for days. I think I've never spent more than 24 hours on a video and my average time spent making them is 4 hours each. How the hell do you guys do it?
But that's just me. Everybody works at their own pace, let's just leave it at that.
