I thought the Haruhi part was pretty funny, actually.

In other completely unrelated news: Less than forty eight hours to Paganfest USA 2008 in Atlanta.

Well, it is kind of related. Because Ensiferum sounds like Children of Bodom if Children of Bodom wasn't total shit.

I'm honestly starting to get really sick of metal videos.. are they all going to look the same?

Same goes with effects.. I'm sure they could of been differently to make the video more enjoyable.

There could of been a lot more mood sync even in a song like this.

Just because you have an action video in mind doesn't mean you should ignore mood sync.

The outro was a bit obnoxious.. sorry, I guess outros explaining the work aren't suppose to be enjoyable anyways.

I want to give this a 2/5 but the visual quality, beat timing was pretty good, so I'll give it a 3/5.

I guess I'll come back to the announcement threads for a brief review, as I actually got to see a bit of this before it was done ^_^ (thx kev)

Unfortunately the problems I saw in that clip actually showed up a few more times throughout the video. For overall quality, I'd give this probably an 8/10, because I saw quite a few bad de-interlaces in there, especially during the clip Kev showed me before (Haruhi one).

As far as concept goes, who doesn't freakin love mindless action to an extent? The reality is the action video isn't really all what it used to be but a few editors are still keeping it alive pretty well. So this really reminded me of just good old, old school action editing...but theres the problem. Your editing in this felt just incredibly repetitive, which is not bad, your sync was spot on for the most part, it just felt dragged out. Definitely feel a video like this didn't need to be over 3 mins long....and why was Girl Who Leapt Thru Time in this...? Or Haruhi for that matter? Didn't fit with your action-y theme at all >.>....besides, real editors use Lucky Star in their action videos.

Overall I'd give this a 2/5....I felt no connection between the video and the song other than the actual sync...lyrically I couldn't understand what they were saying. Repetitive editing, and "Bang, etc" or whatever the hell isn't really much of a concept, especially when you stray from it with sources like Haruhi and TGWLTT.
