Honestly I would guess not. I imagine ~30 - 40 will be chosen as finalist and that blows for those who don't make it, but I wouldn't worry too much since it probably means the overall quality of the actual contest will be fairly high and that's always a plus.

I remember at one particular contest nearly 200 entries were submitted and although only 30 were shown, it was the highest quality contest I've ever seen and enjoyed it throughly. It still remains my 'favorite AMV memory' /nostalgia.

Wow...that many entries ? I sure hope the one I made for Aquaman is able to be shown. I really want to surprise him with it on the big screen.
