Video: <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... >Metallica Montage</a>
Category: Action
Anime: Naruto, Naruto: Shippūden
Songs: Harvester of Sorrow, Master of Puppets, Enter Sandman, The Unforgiven II
Artist: Metallica

A four part montage of action syncs to Metallica's famous solos...
Originally an action video in WMM, and a test video in After Effects, I threw this together because I have still never seen a good action synch to a solo...

It's a ring toss game.

If you've never seen good action sync to a solo that just means you haven't seen that many AMVs... :/

vids or i don't believe it lol jk...

I actually saw one yesterday.

I have seen plenty of AMVs, oh the amount I've seen. Looking through the top ten I see most that don't even have solos. Shounen Bushido had a solo, but it was an effect sync. If there are really a lot of them, show me.

P.S. Did you watch mine...?

Your video was all talk no content. Bland editing. I also notice that when you were 'editing to the solo' 90% of your beats were to the drums in the background. Good job.

1.5/5

Your video sucked. There wasn't much in the way of editing, as most of your cuts lasted anywhere from four to ten seconds. The synch that was there wasn't very interesting and/or was off time. Beyond that, you used the most generic and overused scenes possible with some of the most generic and overplayed Metallica songs possible.

You could improve greatly by doing a number of things, the easiest of which is try to actually edit the footage. Like I said, it looks like to me you just slapped some footage together.

This does remind me of another video, though. A much better one by Warheart.

Here's what you were trying to do, done right.

Good job.
1. The beats aren't mine. They belong to Lars.
2. Last time I checked, you didn't play drums with a guitar. Beats are made by drums. One hundred percent of the beats were to drums. Learn math.
3. Edited mainly to the guitars...drums were there. I synched to them for more cohesion.
4. If your going to flame, do it right.

I know...that's why I used it. You didn't like the video, so I won't explain why.

Actually, that's almost the opposite of what I was trying to do. Also, it wasn't good.

I wasn't attempting to flame. I was just stating solid fact that your video was all talk no content.

the way your composition looks in that picture just shows me you have no idea how to do compositioning in a decent way.
