- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.

Apparently FSDs are not appropriate forum talk.
So I'm forced to conform to the man yet again.
I made this entire video today, mostly to try to force myself out of the editing rut I'm in. The other videos I'm currently working on just aren't any fun for me, and this is a hobby so it should be fun, right?
I wondered whether or not to list the video as a comedy, but I doubt anyone but me will find it funny. Thus, a pre-emptive fuck you to everyone who watched the video.

Thoughts still pending.
EDIT:
Dasein: also known as, "sto has fun with minute color alterations."
Seriously, though, not bad. It strikes me as a slice-of-life kinda video. It begins and ends in the same place, giving it some continuity (you like doing that with your videos, you know), but it feels like the daily goings on of a fairly normal, if clumsy high school girl. Nothing more, nothing less. Not something that'll blow people away, but a nice, cute, somewhat neutral video for a movie that's had extreme comedy and extreme seriousness done with it.

Well this isn't what I was expecting...
dj has already covered most of my feelings on this one; it's a hard video to pin. Taking a source with so much... well, stuff in it and just reducing it to the bare bones of a slice of life was interesting. The editing was sharp but oftentimes a little overdone- I could feel you trying to reach every beat from the audio and it was often contrived. Still, for a short-term editing exercise, it was an enjoyable one.

I think if I corrected you, Id get banned.I read everything wrong wrote:Female Sexual Dysfunction?
That's just the way I am - I try to be consistent in what notes I will sync to, so if I hit notes A, B, and C in a certain line, the video will feel off if I omit D. With a piece as simple as Kleine Teestunde, just about everything gets hit.I like tea time wrote:The editing was sharp but oftentimes a little overdone- I could feel you trying to reach every beat from the audio and it was often contrived.
I changed the hue according to relative key. Since I shifted one way for the fridge when the key shifted to a flat, I shifted the hue the other way when it went sharp in the lab. Was just an experiment though, so I don't expect it to catch on.I don't get a funny name wrote:I like. Some of the colour messing was a bt... hmm (the greens in the lab), others were smart (the curtains, the fridge).

Thumbs up to your approval.I could translate the song title AND the video title wrote:Ok that all people see it

I like the Heideggerism on the video's title O.o

EDIT:
But on top of that, it had a bunch of creative sync moments. They gave this video an experimental feel to it that I liked

That's exactly what I thought too. I can pretty much echo everything what Jen said.dj_ultima_the_great wrote:It strikes me as a slice-of-life kinda video.
