EDIT1: Try and upload to this site. That makes things simpler. Also. look into some compression next time, 96 MB is really big. :O

But wow! this has to be the best vid quality I'd seen from a wmv lol. So good though, that it seems a little buggy. And congrats to the editor on getting ALL that FF footage heh, I know that could be a pain ^.^ more comments to come.

I love this song; however, any and all videos using it are always going to be compared in my heart to this amazing video, so please don't be discouraged by my comments if they seem harsh.

On the technical side, the audio has some obvious popping weirdness issues, which is distracting. The video quality was good, but try to keep everything in one uniform aspect ratio. Yes, this means you'll have to crop and resize some footage to make it fit, but it all helps to make your video look that much better when you present it in the end.

For the editing side, I'll say right off the bat that you absolutely know how to beat sync. You caught the beat of the song very well. It was how you chose to sync it the majority of the time that bugged me. The video was loaded down with effect after effect after effect. It was just too much and made the whole thing look cluttered. I did enjoy some of the masking, but most of the other effects and transitions were just ridiculously over the top. Conceptually, I can see this song working for these games, but I didn't see you picking scenes that really reflected that.

Overall, I wanted to like this a lot more than I did, because you obviously have editing skill. Yet, I don't think this video is very representative of that.

Very nice video, I enjoyed it. Only real complaint is the audio problems. And the various aspect ratios/black borders...those could of been cropped.

It's not your fault. Really, it's not. I thought that this video was amazingly awesome, and it will definitly be on my ipod and watched quite frequently.

It's just....

Like DjUltima, I have another AMV with this song that I love it more, mostly because of my sick obsession with it.

But let me tell you that besides Seirra Lorna and Sayd, you've done the greatest justice to Final Fantasy footage. I sugget checking Ignighted Solitude and Real Emotion, as they would be good guides to follow in the future of making FF videos (which I seriously hope that you do, because this was awesome.

But... It still had issues here and there.

Quality could have been cleaner, that's for sure, but for WMV, this was amazing. :O

I agree with Jen on the scene selection. However, I disagree, as I loved the way that you synced the video.

Can't wait to see future stuff from ya. :O
