Jen - please reply to my PM about the footage. I have some of my save files standing by for footage capture.
Unless you guys would like to chime in?
Would it be better to capture at 800x600 or 1024x768 that requires resizing for the project... or should I capture at 640x480 and just crop to match the 16:9 ratio?
<shrugs>

The Rules wrote:- deadlines are made very clear from the start and will be followed without extensions of any kind
Sorry, but this is where I start to get bitchy. I didn't stick to my rules with the last project, and it ended up running several months past the original final deadline. I won't allow that to happen this time. So, no, I'm not granting an extension. If I bend here, the whole project will start to get thrown off little by little when people realize they can walk on me.The Rules also wrote:Deadlines are very, very strict. If you can't handle a tight schedule, please don't join the project. It has to be strict, because I have to finish this project before September. If it's August 31st, 2008 and I still don't have tracks from some of the participants, I'll have no choice but to postpone finishing it until January 2009. I'll be in Spain for those four months in between, and I'll have no way of coordinating a project then.
This is only the first beta. I'm not expecting that a lot be done. I mostly just want to touch bases with everyone and make sure that you're all aware of what you're doing. I also want to get the technical specs of your footage so I can make sure you have that part correct before you get too far into your editing.
I hope that answers everything.

I would like to get in on this action. I'm already laying down clips for track 12, and I'm confident that I can handle track 4 as well (using Tekken 5) and get both of them to Beta by the end of the month. I've submitted all my SakuraCon vids, so I have some free time.dj_ultima_the_great wrote:Unfortunately, prYzm has dropped his segment. This means that Track 04 is now open to auditions. Alternatively, if anyone already on the project wanted to switch from their track to Track 04, let me know and I'll make the switch and open up your track instead.
