Woouu is really short, but as in other AMVs yours, the idea goes straight to the point, the excitement of the video is good, it is understood very well the concept, the issue is what I liked most, the timing of the scenes was very good at the right time and in general I like the style that you give to your AMV, with concrete ideas and ingenious, was my total satisfaction!

Bahahahaha. I guess it does look like that, I never really thought of it that way before. Thanks for watching.

Glad you enjoyed it, and found it creepy 8-)
Funky-kun wrote:Very nice atmosphere, great sync and scene selection. I haven't watched the anime but I doubt the atmosphere resembles the one from the anime, so I guess this is a highly original work. I liked it a lot.

4/5
Yeah, the atmosphere is pretty different when compared with the rest of the series. Thanks for checking it out, glad you liked it!
Bauzi wrote:Go and upload a mp4 for me =| Please ;_;
Nope. Whenever I tried to encode it to mp4 (I tried three times) the sync got messed up. Dunno why.
Ingow wrote:I just wonder why people always just use those small interlude AFI songs, I know the band has normal length stuff too so why not use that for something like this?
The reason I used this song was because it was short and had the exact mood/atmosphere I was looking for. If I used anything longer, I would have run out of footage. Thanks for checking it out, glad you liked it.
blabbler wrote:Dunno what this anime is like/about so that went right over my head. I shall therefore assume that it focusses on teenage girls in short skirts, robots and/or vampires in space, and is set to a backdrop of badly written nebbish 'first love' angst.
Looked & sounded cool though (as usual).
Thanks! Yeah, Fruits Basket is a high school-type anime, much more upbeat and lighthearted than this video probably portrays.
neverend wrote:EDIT: I haven't seen fruit basket, and it really feels like its a horror anime.. but its like a comedy or a romance right?
I really liked how you captured the emotion, and the black&white / color thing was perfect! The really bad thing was the length :/ i wanted to see more!
4/5
Fruits Basket is indeed more comedic/romancy than this video makes it seem...as for the color manipulation, that was all in the anime itself, I didn't add that. But I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for checking it out!
Nunchuck wrote:Edit: It was a little short but still very nice to watch ^^
Thank you!
Kevmaster wrote:T'was awesome O:

I felt like there could have been a bit more grainy stuff on the grain parts, because the audio seemed more noisy than the vid felt at those parts O:

But yeah, I lubed it.
Heh, glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching!
Emong wrote:The first half was promising but you kinda lost the awesome beat sync-ness in the second half. Just some more intense cutting and it would have worked as well as the ending of Digital Me.. But it didn't.. But, awesome (and minimalistic in a way..) concept 8-) Your videos usually tend to bend sources in a very compelling way and this is no exception  Anyway, somehow it felt a little pointless though.
Thanks Emong! The last part of the video is definitely weaker than the first, I agree, but in my defense I had literally no other footage to work with. I couldn't do more cuts because I simply ran out of stuff to work with. But glad you enjoyed it regardless.

Twas too short. The editing was solid though.

Nice video, I enjoyed it. Good amvs on this anime are few, so it was interesting to watch.
I did not have the impression of seeing a clip on this anime, it's appreciable.
However, this was very short :o

I didn't enjoy it the sense that I thought I would, but it's still a keeper. I like alternate-world plots ina lot of anime, especially Furuba.

Could have been so much more if you put some effort into the visual fidelity/atmosphere. Straight up stuff like this just feels so bland despite the tritone. Concept wise it wasn't too bad but again could have pushed it more.

I'm gonna have to agree with Niotex on this one...

Man the beginning was awesome, aside from the noise effect ... man that needed more effort put into it..

but you just kinda lost it in the second half. The lipsynch and the dropped beat synch just sorta ruined the atmosphere you built up in the first half ...

P.S.

Did he totally take out that bitch's eye at the end?

P.P.S
I like the AFI before this album better.

Ill give it a 46 / 69

An interesting watch, especially considering I'm a fan of the series. Static effect seemed a little plain, or too simple, and the ending felt a little anti-climactic, just sorta dying out. But otherwise, enjoyable for the most part.
