is it me or was does the first one look darker? like the brightness or saturation decreased? i mean, i'm not saying it was bad. i thought it gave a great mood for the whole trailer. =) just wanted to know if it me or the brightness on my screen is screwy. o__o;

--anyway they were great! i loved both storylines <3
"world is Living" made me really interested, like i could really see that as a movie. verrry convincing

Thanks for your comments people, also the people who left in QCs and/or opinions - I really appreciate it! I never thought people would like it, mostly because it felt and was treated more like a side project than a big project. I kinda rushed through it in the end (also because the render times because of color corrections were making me insane), because now I can see there's still a lot that could've been done different.

It's actually good to hear people start to know my name - that can't be bad, right?

Anyway, on to the replies!
Ileia wrote:These banners look familiar somehow...

Edit: Wow, I really liked it. I love the fact that you set up an entirely new story, that is always awesome.
Thanks, glad you liked it! I love creating and telling my own stories in my AMVs, so this is not unusual for me, but it still keeps being challenging for me! As for the banner.. well, either you recognize my style of banners, or I'm copying somebody else's style!
AtomX wrote:Once again, fuckin brilliant. Bravo sir.
Thanks - didn't expect! But now you've ruined my image of you: I now see a fancy English man with a had clapping elegantly with has gloved hands saying "Baravo, baravo!" ;)
CrackTheSky wrote:Upload your Master's video or send me a link where I can download it or I will rip your fucking throat out.
I know, I'm a bastard! I'm notorious for my late releases! But it's certainly going to be the next one in my list: either within 2 weeks or when this post disappears, what comes first. I just need to finish the explanation-page I always do (except for this one).

/gets security :)

Thanks for agreeing!
Funky-kun wrote:That was a very enjoyable video. Nice visuals, even better concept and perfect technical work. The song was catchy too. Nice one.
Thanks! I thought you would say that it reminded you of your No Fate AMV! I got that comment in one opinion that has been given to me, but I guess we both tried to tell our own stories. You know, I was really scared that you would think of the same story when you announced your video, telling you thought of your own story! And yeah, the song is great! Too bad the drummer messes up in a part!
AphexTwin wrote:And another Tokikake clip but a damn good one. Nice concept and editing. Good job.

Your fake live trailer was fun.
Yeah, like I said earlier, there are too many Tokikake videos flying around here that all the scenes just look TOO familiar and sometimes out of place. But I hope it was still convincing enough! Thanks for you comments and the live trailer, yeah, I had fun with blood!
Pas1990 wrote:holy crap that was one hell of a concept

Most amazing TGWLTT AMV thus far I've seen.

5/5 for superb technicals and well executed concept.
Thanks! Also thanks for your opinion - I will respond to it soon!

Thanks, glad you like the concept so much! Yeah, The Magic Numbers is a cool band, with a cool name too! Have you seen pictures of them? It's so cool to see them, because their looks are not what you expect!
Falconone wrote:Short but really nice
Great work.
Thanks for watching! I'm known for short AMVs, but I always try to make them as sweet as possible!

I think there's something with your eyes... j/k! ;) Yeah, I did some color corrections troughout the AMV (brightness, contrast, saturation, add gradients), because I thought it would fit the mood better. I think what's a shame of most TGWLTT AMVs is the fact that they're too bright/colorful and therefore look too "happy" for me. So no, nothing wrong with your monitor! :)

Yeah, I like the concept too, all these comments make me want to go back to finishing that short story this concept is based on. Thanks for your comments and glad you liked both of them!
CodeChrono wrote:We gots ourselves a lovely work of trailer art here people!
Yeah, trailer art!

/thinks of those vehicles (trailers) being painted XD

Glad you liked it! Thanks!

Hehe, thanks! Yeah, I'm the guy who comes in last! A lot of people who know me in real life didn't even notice that!

/gives GfN a chocalate chip cookie for noticing :)

BTW. What's "twks"?

(and you're Good for Nothing right or am I wrong?)

Thanks! but eh... what's the reference with Gasaraki?

Guess I have to open that unsealed Gasaraki DVD-box I have and start watching it!

Thanks for watching and glad you liked it! AtomX inspiration? I'm innocent! XD

Nah, I think we both love typography if that's what you mean! (if not, then I don't know what you mean)

Thanks, glad I inspired you for... ehh... something! XD So, you knew you weren't going to be disappointed... now you're making releasing videos harder for me! :D
