The first part was ok.
The second part when they kill him was pretty good. I liked it.
The song of the last part felt out of place for me. So it didn´t worked there.

Overall: It´s ok 3.25/5 I only got atmosphere with the second part.

Good job though.
Because it's a short "effect-whored" AE video made in a short ammount of time? (Not that it's anything close to Relic but yeah.)
N0OB wrote:The health bar made it feel like a video game, dunno if thats a resident evil tribute or what, but it just didn't work for me. Made it feel fake and kidsy.
Yep, I noticed it was pretty unfitting too after I had finished it..
N0OB wrote:Also, what happened to the venetian blinds effect you had used in the TV scene before it? That would have worked well there. Instead it just wound up looking like a nasty blue color with some noise. The major's screens also had a small bluish flicker going for them.
I know they did, but it wasn't visible at all in the scene that followed, so I just thought I'd go for this look.
HeartThrob wrote:This is just my opinion. But I thought it could of been better for you editing lvl and style. Now I know you only put about 7 hrs into it, but I still think it was enough time to make it better. Just couldnt get a hang of some of ae fx and the flow was ok but it flowed in a way that it just appeared boring. 5.5/10
What do you mean by "couldn't get the hang of them"? Also, I think I could certainly have done more things in the same ammount of time if I re-made it now.. That was the point though wasn't it?

By out of place, do you mean it was unfitting to the other two? Because the 3 parts of the video were pretty different from each other (the first one from the second one were different as well). I also thought part 1 had a more atmosphere-ish feeling to it, but I could be wrong..

@Everyone: thanks for the comments!

Yes. I don´t think that the song goes hand in hand with the other two.

Hot shit man. I enjoyed it very much, the atmosphere and concept were all there. Sync was excellent, and I wasn't ever really bored. You nailed this one dude. Probably won't rewatch it too much, but you still did a great job

I'd been meaning to watch this for several days, but I hadn't gotten around to it.

Now that I have... hot damn! You absolutely nailed the atmosphere, and that's what a video like this is all about.

Honestly, I expected alot more.

In general, I feel if you were going to be using effects to that extent, why not go all out, and use alot more? Either way, it generally felt kinda random to me, i dunno, didnt get the point of the healthbar and such. The TV feel was pretty cool. To be honest, I just generally couldnt get into the video.

2.8/5 because some of the effects were nice, and it was made relatively quick.

It is not random, look at the title and..the whole concept? The story has nothing special to it but it is pretty straight forward, certainly wouldn't call it random. I think more effects would be unnecessary and throwing random stuff in there would not only be a bad idea but it would kill the atmopshere some have seemed to like about it. Wouldn't you be saying I "used too many cheesy effects" in this case? And yeah, it was a quicky.. You're not supposed to expect more when I ask for low expectations in my video info are you? :p Thanks nevertheless!

You shouldn't make a video that requires low expectations. :?
