Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

...This is not up to the standard you've set for yourself in previous videos :/ I dunno, I just couldn't get into it. It might not help that the music is really annoying to me, but overall this video just didn't have your style in it. The best part was the arithmetic, because that's the kind of thing you do - neat, creative little details like that which make me want to watch your videos over and over until I catch every little thing. Unfortunately, this video just didn't have the innovation and originality I've come to expect from you, and knowing it was a Copycat video, I was disappointed.

Enjoyable, but I have to agree that it doesn't quite feel like your usual stuff. Some parts are dead on as usual, while others it feels like it was in beta stage and it was just rushed.

The content of their songs tend to be especially boring?

Hmm, well contrast to the opinion here, I found this AMV quite enjoyable.

The style and pace of the AMV were very well set, however, there was the occasional moment where the pace just didn't seem to fit properly, for example, I know that you were switching between fast and slow, but at some points it just got too slow, well, for me at least.

Overall though, this AMV was very fun and upbeat.

4/5 from me.

Fair enough. But in all seriousness, I think you're totally missing the point of the video. You don't comment on story much anymore, I notice, and well, it's all about the story here. This video is almost like a visualized short story, and it's concept is SO interpretable, I just want to watch over and over again. Not to mention if you want goodies, there are quite a few; they just don't scream "GOODIES!" this time around.

True, I went a little lighter on the "Popcorn Shots" this time around but they're not totally lacking.

And as for the content of Arctic Monkey songs, it should be noted that I pretty much ignored most of the lyrics and just did my own thing. Hell, I didn't get around to looking up "balaclava" until I'd already started editing.

I actually got to use the word balaclava in a sentence out loud the other day. It was awesome.

Did you know they sell them at the dollar store with the holes pre-cut and everything?
