Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Wheels of lifestream release!!

Post by true_camus » Thu Nov 29, 2007 11:09 am

This video i made for the "FF VII: Voices of the Lifestream Music Video Competition", being promoted by the OverClocked ReMix site. I set the movie "FF VII - Advent Children" to a remix of a soundtrack of the original Final Fantasy VII game, called "Motor Crazycycle", made by Tefnek (www.ocremix.org). The focus is over the motorcycle's fights, but i tried to add dramatic insights with some digital effects.

This is my first AMV, so i'll be very thankful for any critics or suggestions for my future videos!! Here's the link

I guess I'll give it a look-see. ^_^

EDIT:

Meh. Looked like a typical FFVII AC children to me.

The high speed music worke dwell with the footage you chose, and the syn was pretty tight.

Digital effects were only averagely executed, and could have been better.

The concept of the video is vastly overdone, and there are many other videos like this out there.

Video quality was fine, and I loved the MP4 compression.

Some of the footage seemed way too long. Especially ending at about 2:55 and starting at 2:20.

I loved that the entire video is Cloud on is Motorcycle, and it hit the concept pretty well.

It's kind of sligtly above average, in my opinion, so you get:

3.25/5.00

I think you're the only person on the ORG during the weekends. Now, back to the regular thread announcement.

Well, I'm at work, and I'm not doing anything at the moment. ^_^

Plus, during the week, I'm in panic mode with school.

For a first AMV, it is MUCH better than what we normally get around here. ^_^
