Now that was some serious improvement from your previous video.

I liked how you handle the sync and the whole atmosphere of the song. The fades worked out, imo, but I'm not too keen on the blur(?) transitions. They were just out of place, but not enough to distract from the nice flow 8-) Anyway, there were still twitches and misplaced cuts and stuff but overall I liked the sync. Good use of fades~

For a 5 Centimeters Per Second vid, I thought it was more like an up-lifting one rather than depressing like most 5CPS videos. The clip selection propably won't make much sense for those who haven't seen the movie, but I enjoyed it. Nicely chronological and I liked how you captured the song.. Sorry, I don't have much constructive stuff to say. It was a good vid

3.75/5

I enjoyed this video a lot, but I agree with Emong about the blurs. They were WAYYYY too heavy for the song - you shouldn't have blurred so much. You'd be surprised how effective a very light Gaussian blur can be, but this was just way too much for the pacing of the video, and I actually physically grimaced when I saw them. They seriously deterred me from wanting to watch the video again.

Luckily, the second half of the video was completely devoid of the blurs, making it much easier to watch. The video was emotionally sound and pretty effective in that respect...though like I said, the blurs really detracted from my enjoyment of the video.

...I really wish I could say something about this video without commenting on the blurs, but they were such a prominent element of the video that I find it hard to do so.

I give this video a 3/5, but it would have easily been a 5/5 without the blur problem.

I don't know why but i can't take out your comment from my head, so i decided to remasterize the AMV and add some things.
Also i have to change the name because it will fit much more.

Maybe i'm too sugestionable

So Here you got:
The beat lament of time

The most important change is the sync of the beats with the battery.

I forgot to add you both in credits as special Thx >_<.

Errr...ok. The zooms to the beat are possibly WORSE than the blurs. IMO this video should just be simple crossfades with nothing fancy at all. You don't need anything else.

The beat zooms really bugged me, apart from that the video was very nice - the flow, the atmosphere, the quality(although a widescreen resolution would be better).

3/5 just because of the zooms >.<
