I knew it was something with FMP this time :D

/dls

EDIT: That was tight Bauzn ;) I must admit the beginning seemed a bit weak but those fractal/glows effects was just awesome! It was a bit chessy sometimes but i liked the style of it and the music was interesting aswell. The scene selection seemed a bit odd in some parts. Anyway definetly one of my favourite of yours ^_^

Hmm. I'm a bit torn on this one. I'm prone to agree with a lot of what Greg said, about lyric sync, and that's my main problem. Sometimes you get a little carried away with matching up every little line and the rest of the video suffers for it, but I actually didn't notice this as much as Greg seems to have. Also, I was able to grasp the concept quite easily without having read the .pdf file or your explanation in this thread, so kudos for that.

Probably the most major flaw in this video is that during the verses, specifically the second one, the editing is really slow. The scene selection is pretty good, but it feels like you could have made some cuts or edits to speed things up and get these scenes moving with the pace of the song.

A few other things I have to mention: the film filter starting around 2:16 looked bad. I agree with Warheart in that it just looked really cheesy, and you should have tweaked that a lot more. I also agree with Warheart that the credits seem totally misplaced, as if they're in the wrong video. You could have left the video right where it ended with the music, but that addition was completely unecessary and actually kind of ruined what the video had going up to that point. Thankfully I can just close MPC at that point in the future. I'm also iffy on the text you used in the video around 2:57 on. The font and movements fit right in, I'm just not sure if the text belongs there in the first place. So that's not really a positive or negative aspect, since I still have to decide on it, just a little note.

BUT. Despite all this, you actually ended up doing a lot more things right than wrong. The editing for most of the video was nothing short of top-notch, the scene selection was really great throughout the video (very atmospheric, you captured the feelings of the song very well). A little heavy on the lyric sync like I said earlier, but it's nothing I can't deal with. Also, the effect work in here is really, really awesome. I love the filters you use to give the video a grainy, grungy look. The clouds and such were all very well placed and helped create a mood.

In all, I have to say that this is actually quite possibly my favorite video of yours. It's more rewatchable for me than Deus Machina (which I felt had way too much filler material), and as far as your other videos...well, Condemn is the only one that comes close in my opinion. So, great work, great concept, great feeling...overall, this is a very excellent video

I thought this was a great Full Metal Panic video, as well as a very well done action video overall. The editing in this AMV was top notch! Excellent work!

Loved it. Personally I think that most flaws pointed out in this video have been exponentially exaggerated by these critics.
Probably the best made FMP amv i have seen.
I love to wear absurd and totally impractical garments. What's more, I derive great pleasure from spending time with women for no apparent reason.
I'm just that kind of person. - Sousuke Sagara
