Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

For those with a short attention span:

It's a MEP. Lots of good editors on it. It isn't a comedy. It's still worth watching though. Go get <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... 211">it</a>.

For those with a slightly longer attention span:

For more than 30 years the Shortwave radio spectrum has been used by the worlds intelligence agencies to transmit secret messages. These messages are transmitted by hundreds of &#147;Numbers Stations&#148;. Awhile ago Trythil mentioned an idea of me doing a MEP using this as the audio. It was an interesting idea so I ran with it. My goal when I did it was to have a range of styles using very unusual audio. We met that goal, there's a mix of horror, drama, WTF, and even a bit of comedy in here. So by all means check it out. Just don't expect anything like previous MEPs I've headed.

I'm still waiting on large file upload permission so for the moment Minion is hosting the project. So thanks to Minion for that. Speaking of the large file, huge file is huge. That's because many of the tracks use special effects that are very hard to compress. I could have gotten it smaller but quality would really have suffered so I didn't. It's probably worth noting that I've watched the file project entirely and there are no encoding errors. Anything that looks like it may be an encoding error is actually meant to be that way.

Also of note, halfway through trythil dropped out despite that this was his own damned idea. So if you ever see him in person feel free to mock him or spit on him or something. I know I will.

GODIX FOR MOST HELPFUL

oh wait, wrong thread.

Conet: pure winrar in .mp4 form
And to be serious, it's really one of those rare MEPs that fulfills my original hope for the whole format. If people can get past the WTF factor of this, I think there's really some very-good-to-excellent AMVing to see here. And if they can't, well, you can't do much better for WTF factor either.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Yeah, I saw you uploaded this last night but it wasn't available. I'm extremely interested to see this thing. Will get back to you later.

Godix Being serious, On MY internet? Oh fuck naw.

Anyway, so this is the thing you mentioned to me before.. I'll check it out, see if it's any good.

That was definately.. Unique. It'll be a required taste. Not many can prolly put up with it for 17 minutes =O. I found it rather interesting though

I found it interesting until the thing just closed  , downloading error?, most likely :/. Anyway the thing closed when I was in that track with the... girl? with only a mouth in the face moving and stuff lol. Not sure if I would have lasted until the end though, but definitelly interesting =O.

errr no rating for the moment, I want to download it again...

This is one of the few MEPs where I'm honestly happy with each track. There's none of it that makes me think 'dear god why did I include this?' It achieved exactly what I wanted it to.

It's being hidden by static for the most part....

No. Not in what you're referring to at least. But that's neither here nor there in regards to conet.

Thanks, that's the closest to praise I expect I'll get.
