Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
 • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
 • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
 • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
 • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

It is compressed.

To 320kbps.

Which, though nowhere near as low an audio bitrate as most AVI files hosted here have, is still only one fourth of what it would have been if it was uncompressed.

Wow. Now that I look at it, it is compressed. Wowies... *cough*blush*cough*

Anyway, I really did enjoy your video. This uses an old favorite song of mine, combined with an anime that I love. Amazing mood sync, amazing editing. The only complaint is the attempt at lip sync (take it out, and this is even more beautiful) and the lip flap. Other than that, this is beautiful.

4.25/5

BTW - I actually have a project using this same exact song in my "to finish" list.

Very classic. My main issues were lip flap, interlacing, and aspect ratio aspect ratio aspect ratio (in reverse order). I had to set VLC to 5:4 aspect ratio, cropped to 16:10 to make this even viewable for me. Whatever that comes out to still isn't strictly correct, but it was fairly close. The interlacing was the next worst issue. It was in your face every time an effect happened. Very jarring. Finally the lip flap was, for the most part, entirely useless and you should have done you best to eliminate it.

Thanks. The interlacing and aspect ratio, yes. I had NO idea what the problem was until after my premiere file got deleted from a virus, and I did not feel like remaking it just to fix that problem, but I did figure it out and I am going to make sure that doesn't happen again. But also, and I see this going around to a lot of AMVs, what do you mean by lip flap?

Lip flap = characters' mouths moving during the video that doesn't match up to the vocals, or when there aren't any vocals at all.

The video is very beautiful, the Anime/song choice is pretty good^^
Your editing is quite good too^^

There were some errors I've noticed though (like at 1:19 min there Belldandy is kind of green, and at 3:13 min there is something wrong too I think). And the quality suffered sometimes, to me it looked like it was at the slowed down parts or something (I don't know if you did so of course, but you need to uncheck the box which says "deinterlace when speed is below 100" in your editing program (at least in Premiere lol >_> ) when you slow scenes down).

But good job!^^
