i didnt know this song until it played and i just rotfl'ed soo hard XDD
sorry, but it's great vid. just find the song hilarious

(really, i laughed so much that i had to start the vid again because i missed the first minute o.0 )

For some reason, I really like this video. It's just a straight-laced action video but the song really seems to click and the editing is very tight. I need to watch it again, but I think this might be the first Shana video to go in my collection.

edit: awesome vid 4.5/5, did you use the last scene from the movie or the movie trailer? 3 more months for season 2 =O =O =O!!!

...am I missing something here? I mean, I enjoyed the motif of fire and things like that, this video certainly earned its title, but I really didn't feel like this video did anything with the song. I didn't get the impression that a character was coming out of the shadows or through darkness or anything like that. And the beginning just destroyed it for me where the protagonist (I guess? Ive never seen this..) is seemingly just swinging a sword around...which is great, it looks well animated, but it didn't feel like it was establishing anything...and it was like she was fighting someone but I really didnt see anyone. I just saw her swing a sword around a couple times and then there was a blue flash and that was it...

Those gripes aside this WAS well edited, I'll certainly give you that. I'd say this is very solid editing, but to me the video didn't really match with the song very well. But that might just be because I've never actually seen it before, I dont know.

I kinda agree with N0OB...it's well-edited, but for the most part it just kinda seemed random. It was pretty good...you can do better though.

Actually, that scene is from OVA (outro of some sort...).

Well, I'm sad that you only followed the lyrics literally

. To me, in a lot of songs, it seems pointless to always stick with the lyrics and trying to search for a scene where characters are doing exactly what the words say... Sure, there are some songs in which is possible to do this and still make it look good. I just felt that this song is not one of those. Imo, some parts of it wouldn't really look good if I did precise lyrics sync, especially choruses! I mean, waiting and watching doesn't seem like it could look good there... Instead, I tried matching the whole song and it's meaning with Shana, her feelings and her whole role in the series (this could probably stand for a lot of other anime characters, but I still picked Shana). Well, I guess some people can understand it diferently than myself, but I can't say I didn't put any meaning into this... Blame my lazyness

for not writing explanations of what I wanted to present here (I'll do that as soon as possible!).

Anyway, thanks for checking it out. I'm sorry if this seemed rude or personal, it wasn't meant to be so. And I sure hope it helps
