So, for those of you who partake in the Donators forum - you already know about the IC match we did with Jasper last week. For those who don't - well, we did.

We actually did the whole match for fun; the result in votes was a perfect tie (and people commented that it was hard to pick one or the other) and we decided to leave any sort of competition at that and instead tweak our tracks and release them. Jasper actually revised hers lots so it should be quite worth checking out even for those who saw it in the donators forum. Mine's just fixed up a little.

We really ended up with very different takes on it, which was so neat that we even put together a combined version with both videos on screen just for comparison, which came out rather neat. (thanks to Ileia for hosting)

Anyway, nothing pretentious here, just a couple of pretty good (I think) IC tracks. Enjoy!


I still think Jasper should've won >__>

Hehe, I had the privilege to see them both!!
...even though I'm not a donator...yet...>_>

Man, when jasper told me about a potential IC between you two I got excited. Great job on both sides. No shock that it was left tied, I felt both were very solid and well done...(though I did have the urge to let my bias instincts take over and donate just so I could break the tie ^^;; ). Sorry Oto, but at least I restrained myself. :wink:

Definitely enjoyed the music and how different one's editing perspective can be. Double :up:.

It occurred to me after the voting had ended that the letters EBIC look remarkably similar to EPYC.

If I had remembered to vote, based on this final render I probably would've voted Jaspers just because I see more editing in it, and I generally liked it better. But this is after she cleaned it up, so I'm curious how the vids looked for the IC... (no Bias there either, as I like both of you pretty equally as editors...)

anyways, :up: good job on both vids ;p
