Condoms in hentai.

I've seen a lot of hentai.. but I don't recall ever seeing one being used. I think I remember seeing it mentioned here and there in some, or someone hold one up.. but I didn't see much indication that one was being used.. or at least I haven't seen it animated in... lol.. it would be funny if they have a guy pulling one off or something.. I know this may seem like a weird question, well that's why I'm asking it!

you have a point.....amazingly. ive never seen a condom used in an anime. even in hentai you dont see em used.

Look up the statistics of STDs among teenagers - condoms are one of those things that have been slow to catch on in Japan. It's a greater cultural issue that they have to tackle now that a third of their youth have the clap...

In Sakura Diaries, Touma and Urara buy condoms at a convenience store. The label is written in Engrish. In the manga, you explicitly see Touma put the condom on. 0_o

They don't use one in volume 4...that may explain what happens to Urara in volume 6.

I've looked at those pictures.. Maybe that influenced me in making this thread.. and notice how he's holding it up... I forgot mention that.. Should of mentioned the pics.

I would like some titles of animes/hentai were they're actually being used.. I haven't seen FMP yet, and I haven't seen one being used.. I'm mainly referring to hentai.

They've mentioned and showed condoms in some hentai. Like one line was in Wife Eater "Wait a minute, you should really wear a condom.".. but then later.. they don't actually use one. Then also when the same guy was with another girl she held one up,and he said "To be honest, I don't really want to wear a condom".. and then the same thing happened.. he didn't wear one. lol... Also in Sex Friend condoms were mentioned.. but I don't remember one actually being used.

Good point... That's always kinda bugged me. But I guess it's a difference in cultures. The Japanese may catch on eventually, since they are being spread around the world and are bound to get over their eventually.
