Anybody checked out the previews in the Fox Box?

Post by angelx03 » Sat Aug 14, 2004 8:24 am

This morning during the commercials, they're showing previews of...uh....Mew Mew Power, One Piece and F-Zero which means a possible preview of the dubs. Since I missed the preview of Tokyo Mew Mew, I can't really comment, but they did show One Piece. Since I never seen any sub versions of One Piece, I can't comment as well. What do you guys think?

I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the One Piece preview dub. Luffy was *slightly* younger sounding than I imagined, but I liked him overall. Zoro seemed dead on, so I was happy about that. I don't think they played anyone else's voices.

you have GOT to be kidding. While zoro had a so so voice, luffy's was INTOLERABLE. but thats not my problem. just listening to this nonsense, its easy to tell that they dropped the complexity of the story by at LEAST 75%.

I think i need to go mourn this.

I just saw the Mew Mew preview. The opening song is actually not too bad (heck, they didn't use "Mew Mew Power" in the lyrics). As for name changes:

Ichigo = Zoe
Minto = Corinna
Lettuce = Brigid
Pudding = Pinky
Zakuro = Renee

That blond guy (I forgot the name :x ) dub voice is actually pretty decent, though the brown hair one sounded a bit too deep. Oh yeah, don't expect absolute cute voices from the girls (well except maybe from Pinky).

My name is tainted by evil! OH GOD WHY!?

I don't trust anything on Fox Box, but I will look at the One Piece preview.

And maybe force myself to watch a few epsiodes.
