I personally guarantee I do that more than you do. Though that might not be that surprising. I especially do it when I'm walking somewhere alone, I tend not to talk to myself when other people are around though it's not unheard of, and I've freaked some people out before (there's a funny story about that involving my job at McDonald's and an old lady who ordered a small decaf coffee). When I'm on my meds I almost never talk to myself, but I got off of those like 2 years ago cause they made me hyper-depressed. Yeah I figured out it wasn't just the crap that was going on in my life that was fucking me up, it was also my meds. Cause I felt a helluva lot happier OFF my medication. So off meds I'm easily distracted, slightly impulsive, excessively chatty, and I talk to myself; at least I'm not depressed. But yeah, talking to myself. I dunno about you but for me it's just thinking out loud. Like all the time. It's not like a conversation with myself or anything.Arashinome wrote:I talk to myself, a lot.
