Let the World Crash (Saikano/Skillet)

Well, here it is. THE Video. The one I kept ranting about in my journal for - what was it? - a year? Not that I actually worked on it for a year. More like the last couple of months, with most of that work being done the few weeks before ACen. I wanted to finish this video for the convention, and I did - and I'm very thankful to say that it was shown. It didn't win anything (it was in Romance), but this was my first time submitting to a con, so I'm just happy it played.

Anyway, anything relevant about this video is in the video description, so read that if you're curious. The only two things I want to mention here are that I'd rather not hear any criticism regarding the lipflap or the video quality. I'm aware of those issues already, and I'm just sick of tinkering around with this video to keep worrying about it anymore.

Encode is XviD, cuz it wasn't really worth learning h.264 for this one when the lossless copy didn't look all that hot to begin with. I'll work on that for the next video.

Clicky the piccy for download, folks. Hope you like it. ^_~

Heeey I remember seeing this played at acen. Very solid stuff, Ultima. The vid has a consistent atmosphere and does a nice job conveying the relationship between the two characters. Good job.

Heh, interesting, finally a Saikano video where I wasn't able to predict which scenes were going to be used. You also hit the beat constantly throughout the whole thing and set up a nice story, I approve.

SKILLET ! /gets

EDIT: To be honest i really hated this show because it kept getting worse and it becomes clear in the end what would happen for these two. But looking at this vid reminded of some good points of it and u used the song 'A Little More' of Skillet that perfectly fitted. Otherwise good storytelling and smooth, u shouldve used a bit more of some effects in some parts.

Hey, thanks for the comments guys. ^_^ Glad to see that people are generally receiving this one well.
Heh, interesting, finally a Saikano video where I wasn't able to predict which scenes were going to be used.
I was hoping that this would look a little different from others. I think it's cuz most people don't use the happier stuff from Saikano, and just use the same angsty parts repeatedly. I still have some fairly overused scenes in there, I think, but I'm glad you liked it. :D

I'm sorry, I'm not really sure what that means...

Thanks folks. ;p
