Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
 • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
 • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
 • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
 • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I label all my Disturbed stuff as "Metal", but that's mostly because I don't really use sub genres like "Hard Rock, "Post-Punk", etc. when I'm organizing my music. It's either "Rock" or "Metal" and I decided Disturbed was more leaning towards "Metal", even though, it's really just "Hard Rock".

WARNING: Soap Box

Anyone who thinks that Disturbed is "The Best Metal Band Ever" probably also believes that Evanescence is "The Best Goth Band Ever." Don't get me wrong, I like Disturbed (and Evanescence sometimes), but they are nothing compared to other acts out there - mediocre at best.

You want REAL metal? Try Fear Factory, Mastodon, Trivium, Children of Bodom, or Dragonforce.

And I'll also say to check out the pioneers of metal, the ones who made it what is now like Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, etc. They are the ones who deserve the title of "Greatest" because Metal wouldn't be what it is today without them.

But that's just the way I look at it.

End Soap Box

Dragonforfce is Power metal. Fear factory is ok.

You forgot Dio in your list of metal people. He's the father of Power metal, Can't leave him out.

Oh damn, I know it's offtopic but since you're already talking about metal. The bands you suggested above aren't really Metal more Pop-Metal since they are quite popular and already sold out (ok not all). But CoB is metal technically but actually they became Pop music already some goes for Dragonforce, Trivium (who are I more Metalcore than metal xcpt for the last album). Anyway I just want to let you know that the soap box was like :O someone cares about good bands but still uses Disturbed. Either way since I'm also in a band and prefer clear terms for music I found it rather funny that you don't really know what to call Disturbed. Basically it's Pop music as well since they use very stop riff driven songs alot of pedal notes, clean vocals and simple song structures. But either way. Good that you see the difference. :)

I might feel that Disturbed is ONE OF the greatest because it was of those Bands that really got me into this kind of music. Though, I know there are Better and greater Bands. (I like most of the Bands you mentioned and know them all, lol). For my Personal taste I am absolute Ill Niño Fan (Nu Metal, Latin Metal), so yea, lol.

To get this back on topic, I really liked the editing, most suitable and even found the music to be fitting. My only problem is action videos don't need to be longer than 3 minutes, so maybe cut it down a little and focus on producing shorter/quality pieces.

Yeah I didn't put everyone I like/appreciate on the list because that would take too much time. I just threw out a few highlights.

And to Warheart: You know your stuff! Good luck with the band!

But I digress. Let's stay on topic.

Like I said before, I never thought length was going to be a problem but that's been the #1 complaint so far. Ironically, if I HAD thought of that I would've suggested cutting it down to Autraya because I personally had a lot of running-out-of-good-footage issues to begin with. Oh well, I'm still overall happy with how the video turned out.

Psh. there was absolutely nothing wrong with the length. I watched it all the way through, and it felt just as long as a 3 minute or so video.
