I agree, Spirit of the stage seemed more technical than this, but this was still awesome, dispite not realy liking the song all that much ;p Its not that theres any flaws in your editing, And I can see the amount of work that went into such things as the cutouts and such, I think I just prefer your editing techniques in spirit of the stage better. But, Like angelx, I recognized at least half the footage you used, (all stuff I like) and for that its a keeper ;p

Gee, no love for cute voice and fast beats ;_;TheUnlimited wrote:though the song is pretty weird
Haha, it's especially refreshing to hear from girls that they liked it. I was expecting otherwise while editing itNessie wrote:I saw this at ACen and a few times after the con, and I remember liking it, despite what it is hehe. The song was stuck in my head half of the weekend, it's so catchy. ^^
You think too lowly of your video. Like some other specialists. We'll see the outcomeNiotex wrote:Oke so this will be for people who didnt know or notice up against F.E.A.R. at the next dutch con...
I don't care about my star average one bit, and I think there's actually a possibility that you'll like my next videoIngow wrote: I guess I'll stay loyal anyway, as long as you don't want me to stop downloading cause it's hurting your star scale (which would seriously be no problem with me, I just stay honest on there) =/

Fine. Just don't fetch me with a bride outfit in september at the airport >_>SnhKnives wrote:i want be your princess?
Nah, it's not that bad, I could've gone much further on the wrongness level but I didn't want to see it being disqualified at the cons and limit the number of people who can enjoy it even morejade_eyed_angel wrote:omg awesome! XD i was wondering about the wrongness level on this one haha.. but yea awesome, looked like a mad almost with all the stills... ^_^
I try to not compare it to japanese AMVs, as streicher wrote, it's all the same, tho I can't deny some influence. And hey, each scene is at least 3 frames longJanzki wrote:I would say this on the same level with the top Japanese MADs. I'm not even a big fanservice or Jpop fan, but I guess this was good since I couldn't stop the video even if I wanted to. I'll have to watch this in slow motion to see what actually happened.
Well, I surely don't have dvds of all of these sourcesTormentor wrote:The quality was soso, sorry but not that good. You made a good job on the pictures flying in and out and on the backgrounds, but this video didn't touch me sorry. When I look back to (for example) Spirit of the stage I think that ypur skill is revealed more there. Technically well, but not up to your abilities.
And well, the video is also supposed to touch you in lower parts >_> SotS was like my all-out video and still remains my personal favourite as well.
Thanks for all the replies, may the fanservice be with you.
I uploaded a XviD version for those with slower computers. It lost so much more quality even in a lower resolution with a relatively huge size.
x264 was easily more than twice as efficient here. So get the mp4 and at least try playing it back

You know I couldn't pass up on watching this
It's actually pretty neat, as an (digital effects) editor you're on a whole different playing field than me, very sublime and flawless use of effects. The concept didn't really float my boat, but it is very "uplifting" (in various senses of the word
). I think you might have a fairly decent chance of winning acon, it all depends on what kind of judges we have...
Hehehe, I heard rellik saying that he thought his last years entry was better than the one he did this year. As for my video, it's not really a winning type of video, you'll see what I mean when you see it. It's more traditional than JCD's it relies a lot less on effects and has a more traditional build up but is estranged by the editing style and music. Meh, all the video's I've seen (2) were actually much better quality than most of the crap from the previous years. This might be the contest that will fill the room (who knows?)Warheart wrote:To bad you'll win Acon with this but I can always hope for Paul and Rellink to come up with something good since all Acon video's I know till now aren't really that good.
