This is my newest AMV, it features footage from the Angel's Feather OVAs and games and is set to Avril Lavigne's "Take Me Away." Thank you in advance for watching if you do, and opinions are appreciated and I'm happy to do opinion trades with anyone. =)[/list]

I've never heard of this anime, but it looks like a lot of pretty angst. What's with all the angst lately? >.<

Really pretty vid, makes me want to find out about the anime. Like right now. And the short story in the vid description helped, but I think the video can carry itself without the explanation.

The editing in this is kind of strange in places. I'm not sure I like the way a lot of the scenes are used like still images. I don't mean the 'flicker' sections for the drum rolls, so much as the general scene cuts, like you intentionally cut out movements. Just too many sharp cuts - makes the footage look stilted. More short fades between the stills might help soften it up some without losing the beatsync. Need to watch it some more on loop, though. The editing might grow on me.

The cuts are rather rough seeming depending upon your speaker settings. I have to admit I edited this with headphones on, and watching it without them on (on my comp's speakers) sounds different enough for some of the synch that I did to be lost.

As for abrupt still imagey motion, I admit entirely that I saw a vid done to this song before, and I didn't like it all that much except for that technique and it kinda ended up being borrowed. ^^;; different strokes for different folks, but you're not the first to tell me to soften it up so I'll really try to think about that next time.

Thank you though, I'm glad you thought it was pretty even though that's just the anime. XD

Thank you for giving it a chance (and having faith the editing would be okay) anyways. Be proud of yourself, you tried something new today! XD

Hm, not half bad. If you really made this with WMM ( I assumed because it's a WMV file) this is one of the best WMM videos I've seen so far. Good atmosphere and decent quality.

Yeah, you got me, I'm a WMM2 user. I think my copy of Adobe Premeire is defective because I can't get the damn thing to do ANYTHING. Oh well.

Thanks for you comments though!
