For Boston - Parting Shot

Post by Kai Stromler » Thu Apr 21, 2005 7:33 am

Given six days to pack up your life, finalize travel and financial arrangements, and finish several major work objectives, the proper course of action is, of course, to make an off-the-cuff AMV dedicated to your regional music scene. Anyone who does not follow the logic here is free to go; the rest of you, your friends and a psychologist want to sit down and have a little talk.

Sing Loud Sing Proud For Your Scene!
music: "For Boston" performed by the Dropkick Murphys
anime: Cromartie High School
format: xvid/mp3 (20 MB)
downloads: local and direct

There are other scenes that could have merited this video, but the New England/E-Mass/NoBo scene is the one I come from, and one whose singular concentration of well-meaning idiots clad in black cannot but suggest the perennially entertaining thugs of Cromartie. These are My People, and if you dig aggressive local music, they are Your People too.

The local download will be up in a bit, but the direct download is good to go. Wait for the queue to drain......

This is going to be the last SH video for a while, as I'm relocating to Germany on 4/23. Hails and regards, and don't forget to turn it up FUCKING LOUD,

An interesting video, which I did not quite understand (that's your job, right?), but still was very quality.

When you get time in the future, you should come visit Animania and party like it's <insert random year here>. Good luck in Germany, since this might be the last time we see you for a while. <salute>

I meant in person. But it's still nice to get the occasional email.

hey all,

Thanks for the positive commentary, it's always good to know that your stuff's appreciated. I'm going to keep doing AMV stuff from Germany as best I can, but probably not on current pace -- four videos finished in 16 days is kind of fundamentally unsustainable. And when I get back, I'm hoping to be able to take a summer and finish up my degree at UM -- provided that I don't get extended past the expiration date on my current credits.

regards,
