In Love With the Sea - Forbidden Romance and Elemental Gods

In the mood for deep sea adventure, forbidden romance, and epic standoffs between elemental gods?

Few have seen "The Sea Prince and the Fire Child" (Also known as "The Legend of Syrius/Sirius"). So I just wanted to share this lost classic with the world, in the form of an AMV which tells the main story, set to a song that goes with it so perfectly. Both tell the tale of a woman in love with an entity of the sea.

But, at the time, all I had was bad VHS footage; the last I had heard, that was all there was left of this anime. So, feel free to skip this one if visual quality is more important than editing (I hope to someday remake this with better footage, but I don't know if that can happen or not). I feel the editing came out quite well, hence me still wanting to share in spite of that.

Not bad...I'm a little torn on the over-reliance on the narration, and the editing was pretty spotty in some places...but it's still a cool video, especially given that this is probably one of the only music videos that uses this anime as a source. The main thing that kept me from really getting into it was the song, never been a fan of Within Temptation, but still...not bad, not bad

Thanks for the feedback. I felt context was important and most people haven't seen this anime. But maybe I did overdo it. It won't be something I'd do often if ever again though; it was just a decision based on the sheer rarity of the anime in question, that the viewer know why the love was so forbidden, and the risk of death it involved.

But I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for viewing even in spite of the music selection. :3
