first off, thanks Millenium Strife for the QC! And too, thanks for the other anonymous QC's, good or bad - as even if you didn't like the vid, you took the time to tell me.

yeah, that is one of my fears about my choice of this pairing - people not understanding why I made this choice - which is okay since I am really sort of stretching the meaning out quite a bit. Playing off of the love aspect of the song and pairing it with the love between apparent rivals may have pushed it; then adding another level with the race and other events...

hehehe - another happy accident?

here's the 'test' image I first did when I started the project showing the before / after filter views. As you can see, the video quality is rather bad - I was happy that I could get it to the level shown in the video.
And too, that point in the video you mention was a rather difficult transition for me as originally I had intended to place a 'flash forward' back to the present time of the video. When I removed that scene, I had a problem. I then started going backwards from near the end of the song and worked my way back to that point to figure out how to make the transition. I know what you are saying, however.
and fyi - here's a link to the
lyrics to the song

whee! another convert to the 'cult of buma'

hehehe - you said 'extra time'

- and I'm glad that my stretching of the emotional lyrics of the song didn't go so far and tear the fabric of the pairing (well, at least for you - hopefully more will follow?). And yes, it's 'sparkly' like a windup toy Godzilla (toned down a bit too per our previous discussions

)
