[20:11] <godix> The onyl real complain I have is I would have liked to see more internal sync to match the obvious external sync. But event hen, that's not a huge complaint

[20:11] <DriftRoot> My biggest negative comment (aside from rape) is that I would have liked to see more done with the effects. The scenes immediately following .50 - .54 seemed very bland in comparison to what came before.

[20:12] <quadir> it sounded a lot more jazzy and I expected a smoother style instead of this skipping cutting stuff

[20:12] <godix> I think it was good he cut it. The problem with a lot of experimental stuff is that it goes on long after you've mentally gone 'that was neat and all but I'm bored of it now'

[20:13] <DriftRoot> My issue with the synching is that it took me a few views to catch on to HOW he was synching.

[20:14] <DriftRoot> All the other effects/synchs were very sharp, that just threw it off.

[20:26] <DriftRoot> One thing: I like AMVs where I get a clear sense of what the creator is trying to show me. I wasn't very sure with this AMV, regardless of the so-called description.

[20:30] <godix> I'd like to point out that the reason this might remind you of Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep is that GITS in generally is very much based on the same genre of world that Dick helped invent. Most of cyberpunk is.

[20:30] <G_Q> godix: True, and cyberpunk is awesome.
[20:30] <G_Q> (since we switched into Praise mode and all that)
[20:30] <Rathisponge> I really enjoyed the use of rewinds and delays, to match up with the instrumental style of song.

[20:31] <godix> I liked it for what it is, a simple semi-experimental video that didn't go on nearly as long or get nearly as boring as most experimental editing style vids.

[20:31] <Otohiko> I liked the athmosphere, the apparent 'ordinariness' of it, and the nice editing that's a bit off-whack but strangely good

[20:31] <quadir> for me I really liked how the dog shots made batou seem a lot more human, with the dog flopping around and slidding (like in those toilet paper commercials!)
