... no one can Import Divx nor Xvid's ...

Post by post-it » Sun Oct 17, 2004 12:31 am

. Of course Primiere can't import Divx, Xvid nor MPEG-2 directly,
its' not a Finish Product Codec User - ITS AN EDITOR!

. I'm getting just a little stressed at seeing people complaining about what
programs like Primiere, AiST, Ulead, MagiX and other EDITORs can not do!
I'll be the first to laugh at AiST and MagiX products because I both love and
hate them at the same time; while others are complaining about what these
editors seem NOT to be doing with Finished files!

. Let me Break This Down - for you ( concidering that the Guides missed this)

1). The must important thing to have is an idea that can become a Concept.

2). Having -or- getting the RAW footage for your idea.

3). having -or- finding someone who has the music you need.

4). Taking these RAW ( as in non-Divx, Xvid, and or .avi's ) and beginning
the Editing process.

5). Correcting and arranging the Audio Tracks

6). Exporting your Edited file into a "cleaning program"

7). and finally, Having that Cleaning Program Finish the Video and Audio "final Processing" into Divx or Xvid or Real Media or Windows Producer for Public Distribution.

8). Now that your AMV has been Finalized, upload it 8-)

. If things are done, the way they are spelled-out in the Guides, in the way
which this organization was founded, which are exactly the way I've just spelled-it-out for you, by the golden rules then everyone can see and correct the ERROR's we see and we all can learn "how to improve our making of AMV's"

. Look closely at steps 1 - 8 on this page and tell me which one is in the wrong order?

. . . traxx

---opinions . . . objections---

. After litterally spending 45 minutes downloading and viewing nine of our
posted questions on this board, 68% of the questions asked are repeating themselves
and saying the exact questions which are out-of-order on our list's!

. -. how do I import Fan-Sub's?
. -. -. downloading MP3's
. -. where are you finding ...
. -. -. where can I get ...

. I'm as guilty as the next person on these things, but the pattern seems
to be an ever repeating question of Importing Error's and how many files
can be made of a Single Subbed Episode - re-used five different ways by
the same encoder!

- or am I mistaking what my eye's have read on this board over the past year?

You know, sometimes it's better to pass by reference, not by value. As you demonstrated, the data sometimes becomes corrupted in the transmission.

Which is inevitable, because people are human and often miss the guides section or the stickies, so they make a thread asking something we've heard a thousand and three times.

Deal with it. :P
