where do ya get your inspiration/idea's

its an obvios question, but what about thoughs not so obvios answers ? like, i got an idea for a eva amv while watching bogiepop phantom last night (and no, i wasnt just noding off, just something in one of the eppisodes sparked an idea in me)

I got a Samurai X idea from watching Cowboy Bebop. (Still in progress) There's lots of things that spark ideas and its not even really the anime you're watching that'll spark it, rather, the theme is what might spark an idea. Hell, I got an idea from playing Jet Grind Radio. 8)

i usually get my inspiration from the music more then the footage i use. i like anime and stuff, but i dont watch alot of it. my vids are more about the song, strangely.

Mine almost always comes from the music. I hear a new song, or even a familiar one, and suddenly an idea comes to mind. Ithen start thinking till I either have a full-fledged concept for an AMV, or something that just won't work, so I skip it. Once I have a concept, then I think over all the anima and pick out what would be good to use(this works better when you've seen a couple hundred series and movies).

Listening to a song, watching anime, sometimes both at the same time for kicks.

One that has been pushing me more in recent times has been human conflict. Romance, depression, etc. Extreme emotions. Not to say that lately things have been bad, but that things have been more... real.

Real life is one hell of a motivator.
