Caldwell is the AMV equivalent to a historical figure.
I always wonder how disturbed he'd get by his legendary name, if he ever came by this site. ;)

It's only us older folks that insist on keeping him as part of the canon. Caldwell is about as known to newer editors as Grover Cleveland (in before some new American editor actually asks "Who?").

I like his videos, but my interactions with him in person left a lot to be desired. I kinda thought he was a douche, but my perspective may be warped by youth (then) and age (now).

I said I'd drop links in here, and I meant it. If any of these links don't work, let me know, because I have copies of most of these and can hook you up.

I forgot a few old schools (, , , ) and an upbeat () I wanted to mention. I should also point out that I second all of the earlier suggestions and figured it would be silly to repost them.

Same here.

I would be like angry, but the fact that at least a notice of something CZECH (Czech Yourself Before You Wrech Yourself) got in, inspired by me...

Well, it's enough.

When I hear old school, Total Eclipse Of The Heart (C-ko) and Masochism Tango comes to mind, but I believe Masochism Tango isn't available for local.

Here's a few for Video games:
Resident Evil 4 - Die another day
Shoryuken? Sure You Can!
The Chosen Two

There's another one, one of the Silent Hills and Resident Evil 2 to Sweet Dreams by Marilyn Manson, but I can't find it anywhere. There's a few more for both the categories that I have in mind, but I don't remember the titles. Maybe I'll post 'em if I get around to finding them.

So do I, actually. I believe most of the Old School AMVs that I have I acquired through links in #AMV or the Vault, though I only got a couple from the Vault.

Throwing in a few suggestions when it comes to the old-school category:

One Day More
Astro Boy Forever
Versailles Paradise
