So far I've done a drama video, a "whatever" video ("Best of Squaresoft" had no real theme to it; just pretty editing), a comedy video that was my first bash at lipsynch, and something I try to call a dance video, though Omni would take a personal insult :P

I was scared to attempt lipsynch, but once I actually did it, I discovered it isn't half as hard as everyone makes it out to be. The difficulty is more in scene selection than matching the syllables (until you start getting into characters talking while the rest of their body's moving, too....)

I still don't know which genre I'm better at. Will have to see the audience reaction at AWA this year. But at least according to MegaCon, they liked the "whatever" video better than the drama. Go figure

I try to be as versatile an editor as possible. I have done comedy, sad/depressing, loud and obnoxious, story teller style, classic ass whoompin' style, character profile, and the famous comedy bit. I have a dance concept lined up, I’m just waiting for that defining moment of final inspiration to hit. But of all the videos I have ever done, the most fun, and the one that got the best reaction, was my disturbing video. A work so very wrong in nature, but ultimately right, it’s like a car wreck. You want to look away, but you just can't. It's one of those "you laugh despite the fact you know better" scenarios.
The only thing I haven't done is theatrical trailer, nor do I intend to. It’s just not and idea that has ever intrigued me.
