I extracted a video with RIPPSS and I used GLUPSS and it created a file with .new.
I renamed this file in .avi, I read video but there is no sound.
WHY????

Re: extract audio from ps2 game?
I'm not quite familiar with GLUPSS and RIPPSS and what it does(It's weird that RIPPSS and GLUPSS creates .new file extensions...at least I see no benefit to it), so try this:cho7 wrote:I extracted a video with RIPPSS and I used GLUPSS and it created a file with .new.

Have you ripped the PSS files to t yet? If not, refer to this thread on how to:
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/v ... hp?t=28242
Once you have the PSS files-
Get PSS Demux[Where it says Download and PSS_demux (ver 1.05) ] and open the program. Load the PSS file, and you should see an option that lets you demux the pss files into the MPEG2 and WAV streams. (Usually does, it may turn out to be different file formats depending on games.)
From there, it's just a matter of how you want to deal with the MPEG2 and WAV files.
I recommend serving them through AVIsynth, and working your way up from there.
