extract audio from ps2 game?

I extracted a video with RIPPSS and I used GLUPSS and it created a file with .new.

I renamed this file in .avi, I read video but there is no sound.

WHY????

How can I put sound to that video?

sometimes avi's are not the best thing... i'm sorry, I wish I could help... I know for a fact that avi's don't work on my MAC friends comp. that's all i know. Sorry...

I'm not quite familiar with GLUPSS and RIPPSS and what it does(It's weird that RIPPSS and GLUPSS creates .new file extensions...at least I see no benefit to it), so try this:

Have you ripped the PSS files to t yet? If not, refer to this thread on how to:

Once you have the PSS files-
Get PSS Demux[Where it says Download and PSS_demux (ver 1.05) ] and open the program. Load the PSS file, and you should see an option that lets you demux the pss files into the MPEG2 and WAV streams. (Usually does, it may turn out to be different file formats depending on games.)

From there, it's just a matter of how you want to deal with the MPEG2 and WAV files.

I recommend serving them through AVIsynth, and working your way up from there.

there's no audio cause the audio is in adx pcm.
use pss_demux mention earlier
