DDR Project 5th Mix Track 14 - Be Together

Post by dwchang » Sun Oct 10, 2004 7:54 pm

It's a bit late being that AWA was over two weeks ago, but my DDR track is finally up:

DDR Project 5th Mix Track 14 - Be Together

I wanted to try something a bit different this time around, so I took shows I've never used or seen before (yeah no Escaflowne in this one :P) and made an upbeat (and somewhat bouncy ) video.

Most people are used to me making (overly) sappy vids, so I purposely took this (unpopular) track and tried to do something different. Sadly people say it still reflects my "style", but whatever. I had a lot of fun with it and learned a ton of things in After Effects .

Again, sorry for the delay, but that whole "life" and "job" thing have been very hectic and got in the way :P. I imagine a whole one of you was actually waiting...

Enjoy!

Nah, it's starting to grow on me too. Like I said, worst-case scenario, I learned a ton from this video.

You just like it because it has Aoi in it :-*.

At the same time, despite what you say, out of the two people who have downloaded it, one has given me a star-rating of 1 so I'm not the only one who disliked it (or rather used to) :P.

Thanks again! Your help throughout the betas was useful.

 Either they were disappointed that it wasn't a pure sappy video from DWChang or they didn't have the codec to play the video back correctly. At least that is what I would guess. I personally thought it was one of the best videos in the project this year.

You think it's really a codec issue? I've always been wary of using anything beyond MPEG-1, but recently have gone XviD on almost everything since I can click that "DivX compatible" button.

Either way, thanks for the comments. I wouldn't go so far as "one of the best videos in the project" with vids like AD/Teh Gambitt's, but the comment is still appreciated ;).

You, like Wolfy and Knives, are only saying that b/c it has teh Aoi in it :-* (Did you catch the *really* fan-servicey picture of her in my vid? :P)

Yeah I keep forgetting which of you three is the big Aoi fan and then I realize it's all of you :P.

Thanks again for your help! There wouldn't have been any "man humpage" in the vid without you :P. Maybe that's a bad thing .

I don't know. Worked fine for me but I have received an op before where the person op'ing it didn't have Divx installed. : / Luckly they also grabbed the Mpeg version of my video, but had they been unable to play it at all I wonder what kind of star rating they would have given it...

Yes, but I could name a bunch that were better (imo) so nyah :P. Dethroned again! I WIN!!11!!...or do I? <_<

In fact, I just downloaded Pianos' and <3 it. Especially without the sync problems that it had at AWA :-/.
