• Comments: Okay, first off I must give my thanks to Digipinky for giving me the clips to make this amv!
  
  So I got into a Digimon mood again, this time I can blame my friend who's decided to watch it for the first time ever. She's got me stuck on it. Now when I listen to music I always want to put Digimon to it. I was listening to some Evanescence songs and I heard this one. Usually I think of Kohaku from InuYasha becuase there's an amv for him with this song. Then suddenly BAM! Ken keeps popping into my head. I had to skip backwards to listen to it all over again so I could try and put his face to it throughout the amv. Which is difficult because I haven't watched Ken clips in a long time. So after a couple of days of transfering with Digipinky for episodes, I had all the clips I thought I was going to need for an amv.
  
  Mostly this amv is based on the episode "Genesis of Evil" where Ken is slowly trying to shed off being the Digimon Emperor and get is heart back. His parents also decide they're going to try and not push Ken so much to be more like Sam, his older brother. I think its a great episode that throws into perspective a bit of what causes Ken to wanting to rule the Digital World. I started it yesterday at night but I only had about half an hour to do anything so I mostly just threw together clips. So when I got home from school I went back and started fixing it, taking out clips, cutting, rearranging and adding in some special effects here and there. I think at some points I went a bit over board and tried to cut back near the end. There are a couple of flashes here and there but I really tried to fix it, and some of the clips cut real fast to another one that looks similar, but I tried to make those flow together better too.
  
  I really like my instrumental part. I put in my favorite clip where Ken sees all the digidestined's digimon go back to their in-training and rookie forms and he says "I've seen those digimon before. They're so little." Wormmon says something to the sort of "They're just like human babies." where, after some thought and a big, sad sigh, Ken tells Kimerimon to stop attacking. I put in some clips of Ken being his mean Digimon Emperor self. I liked mix of depressing clips with the slow tune in the background, giving it an almost sureal effect. At least, that's what I was trying to get to. Then in the background a man starts talking (though i have no idea what he's saying) and I was just going to put in some more depressing Ken clips and then I ran out of some so I started putting in some of the scene where Sam finds Ken in his room after coming back from the Digital World. Its one of those scenes that seemed out of place in the episode because it showed Ken and Sam as having a pretty good relationship and then Sam yells and hits Ken. I also like the hues of the scene. I wish I could have duplicated it for the some of the other scenes I put at this part. I think it would have added to my sureal effect.
