  After a long run of editing here's my newest AMV. This was a concept that I had a strong urge to make right after I heard the song for the first time. I really wanted to present Chobits in a different light than everyone else did in the numerous other AMVs out there. So alongside the story I tried to show the most beautiful and meaningful scenes between Hideki and Chi. It still tells a story and shows emotion but the overall statement of the vid was to illustrate how many touching moments as well as dramatic ones that come with "love at first sight" or "boy meets girl".
  
  I really love Chobits and the relationship it developed through the show. It presented a confused and innocent youth come into contact with various things that he has never experienced before; love and technology. Throughout the show Hideki is always questioning himself how he should feel toward Chi while the whole time she is falling in love with him. By the end of the show I was really moved by how much it was able to show Hideki really open up and accept Chi as more than just a persocom but instead, his first and only love.
  
  I chose to use "I Caught Fire" by The Used for a few reasons, the first being the concept that just shouted to be made after I heard it. From the first set of lyrics I had a vivid picture of this vid and how I wanted to use Chobits with it. Another reason was for the nature of the song. It's a love song but different from all the slow, sappy stuff out there. Rather than singing on and on about being in love or "missing you", the lyrics instead express the wide spectrum of emotions that someone in this kind of relationship goes through. The most important idea in the song to me was the part about "melting" in the eyes of the one you love. It's a feeling that is mutual in any kind of love out there. When you find someone special and truly fall in love with them it's almost effortless to get lost while looking into their eyes. It's an enchanting feeling that comes with love and I was very excited to be able to use it for the vid.
  
  I've got to say that I had alot of fun making this one, since it's a bit more cheerful than my last vid. But I'm very happy with how it turned out. I find alot of the overlays in this AMV to be very personally touching and emotionally moving and captivating. Whenever I watch this AMV it makes me think of all the great times in Chobits and all relationships in anime and even those that I've been involved with in real life. I hope that everyone that watches can share in some of the ways that I felt when I created and watched it and remember that if you have any thoughts or impressions about the AMV then feel free to leave an opinion. I'm always excited to hear what everyone thought or how the vid made them feel and be assured that I'll respond to any comments I receive. But mostly I just hope you enjoy the AMV!
