• Comments: In March of 2001 I was working on two Evangelion videos, so I had a lot of uncompressed source lying around. One night I was awake at about three in the morning and had an idea to make this video, that would make all the characters in Evangelion seem more like the characters in the TV show "Cheers" than victims of a giant worldwide and personal existential crisis. I put "Cheers" in about three hours, which is much less time than I've spent on any of the other videos. In many ways, however, it is my favorite.
  
  I don't feel that it's actually a particularly humorous video. It expresses a certain facet of Evangelion that isn't tragic, but actually happy. And not really silly-funny-happy, but just warm. Which I feel is somewhat unique.
  
  This was also my first experiment with lip-synching, and although it isn't perfect, no overlays or anything, I'm proud of it. I would love to hear your comments.
