• Comments: Basicly this video was an experimental one, I wanted to go crazy with effects to see what I can do disregarding any loss :P

  A few months ago PX32 came up with a nice idea, doing a multi-creator project to music he loves, former known as Eurobeat. I doubted at first that I'd participate as the idea seemed pretty vauge, but soon I realized that I could do something with this song - mostly for myself as stated above. It would even be a good oppurtunity to enter in the Anime 2005 contest which was coming up in the Netherlands.
  
  While PX32 had lots of difficulties getting a mix done by someone, I started editing on this video already. Mai HiME was a pretty good match because of its good animation and besides it was the only anime I could think of with enough "FIRE!" scenes (you'll see :P).
  
  Originally I was planning to combine the use of Premiere and Vegas again, but I ended up editing the complete thing in Vegas which was definetely worth it, I was pretty suprised how close the effects I created in it were to my imagination. It took alot of effort because timing and clipping isn't as easy as in Premiere. Thus, in total I worked around 70-80 hours on this even though it's pretty short.
  
  So, if you're offended by visual effects like rotating shapes, Euro-Stars (yes :p), Light Rays, Hard Light transparencies, Multiple Lensflares etc. you might be better off not downloading this :P Please don't bash me on the use of effects, read the first line again, it isn't going to lead anywhere ;) This video is overdone with effects on purpose.
  
  Programs Used:
  Sony Vegas 5.0 for all of the editing, masking and media-generation except...
  Particle Illusion 3.0 for the Multi-Lensflare used twice.
  Adobe Photoshop 7.0 for the Karaoke-Banner
  Macromedia Freehand 10 for the Euro-Stars

  It was a blast to see this winning at Anime 2005. I was totally nervous before the contest and my whole body was shaking when I saw the other contestants videos (especially "Jealousy" by Relliknl). I was happy to no end and had a great time with the Dutch creators afterwards :D
  
  Oh yeah, resulting from all of the above: Epilepsy warning! Seriously ._.
