• Comments: This is the first of a series of tribute videos to the girls of Digimon, minus Zoe. It all started when I listened to this song and thought how well it fit Rika’s character. I worked on the video and when I got stumped at certain parts of the song, I started on another video that I had wanted to make. It was a Tamers video to the song Bring Me To Life, but it ended up with so much footage of Jeri that I decided to just make it a tribute to her. When I finished that one, I thought to myself that if I have a Jeri video and am working on a Rika video, why not make a video to the other female tamer? So I found a song I had heard at a dance show at my school called Let The Little Girl Dance and made it about letting Suzie be a tamer. When that was finished, I then thought about making a video to all the girls and also add in their Digimon Girls’ Festival songs as intros to their videos. And that was how this idea got started.
  
  It was difficult to make Rika’s video since the song was a love song, but I didn’t want to ditch it because of how well the verses described her. So I tried to think of a way to make the romantic part of the song be about how she started caring for her friends and family instead. That was the hardest to do because whatever footage I put in there it always looked like I was implying that Rika was falling in love with Renamon, Takato, etc. I worked on this video for months trying to get it to look less like a romance video, and well, this is what came out. You make of it what you wish.
  
  The first segment is about how Rika was finally realizing that Renamon wasn’t just data, but her partner and friend. The second is about her becoming close friends with Takato and Henry. The third is of her family and how they love her.
