Listening to this song, while watching Trigun (not at the same time obviously) it occured to me that the main character of the song had a lot in common with Vash.
Obviously I don't mean that Vash is the same as the real Jesus Christ, just that he was similar to the way the song presented Jesus. I'm not deeply religious, but I respect religion in others. Please don't burn any crosses on my lawn, I've just mowed it.
