• Comments: My first video, so please, bear with me.
  
  FLCL has to be one of Gainax's better releases, and is possibly the best medicine for people who find Evangelion too convoluted to even enjoy. FLCL has an excellent mix of action, drama, comedy, and totaly nuts footage that lets AMV directors be very creative.
  
  I tried to capture the zany sci-fi action going on in FLCL, and keep it very synced up with the lyrics. The Science Fiction Double Feature Picture Show cover by Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies varied in pace enough for me to fit in both fast-paced sequences and more somber shots. I find the cover to be even better then the overused origional song.
  
  All footage is ripped directly from my own personal copies of the region 2 DVD's, and converted to DV format for easy editing.
  
  For those not familiar, here are the lyrics. Try to follow along with the shots, and you can see how amazingly well some footage goes to the song. Sorta like a Dark Side of the Moon/Wizard of OZ deal going on :).
