  2024 was sort of a journey of becoming more honest about my hobbies and interests, both to myself and to others. So I'm really happy I decided to come back to editing properly - there aren't many other creative pursuits that work quite so well for me as an expression of love for a Thing. My only "regret" for last year is that I would have liked to submit one more POE video, but around week 4 I hit a pretty bad period of burnout and then I got sick, so it wasn't to be. But I'm delighted to say that my burnout is cured for the time being because there is an absolute battle royale of AMV ideas going on inside my head right now, to the extent that I had to say fuck it and shorten this video so that I could just... get rid of it. ^^;
  
  Originally I was trying to finish this before the holidays, but needless to say it didn't happen! After Christmas, I lost momentum, and I felt more and more like there were other things that I'd rather work on. I actually thought about abandoning this project several times, but I like parts of it enough that I didn't want to leave it unfinished. So I cut it right down and here we are!
  
  I literally don't remember the last time I made a properly multisource video (it might have been in my dark iMovie past) but I found this one pretty challenging! In the end, it turned out to be more of an experiment than a fully realised AMV, but nevertheless! pls enjoy muimi
