I've always wondered if I had the chops to make finals at the Otakon AMV Contest. But as a member of the AMV staff, there was no real way to actually participate as a contestant. This year I decided to create a video and submit it under a false name, only revealing my entry after pre-screenings were complete. The plan was to withdraw from the contest if I actually made finals, content with the knowledge that I would've made it. I didn't make the cut, but I was delighted to participate and it was fun to reveal the truth.
This video is a quick and dirty action video that was fun to make but certainly doesn't represent anything remarkable.
