  This video is my demon and I am expelling it. It will not follow me into 2024.
  
  I originally started this project in 2016. After running into some technical issues I abandoned it, and only earlier this year revived it as a last minute entry to RICE 2023. There were a lot more things I wanted to fix before uploading it, but it's reached the point where not only am I fed up with it, but the project file itself is giving up the ghost.
  
  Despite my frustrations, I had a lot of fun editing this. I experimented with a lot of effects and techniques (I learned how to use parent/child layers JUST to fix the copious amounts of lip flap) and just tried to lean into the weird creepy vibe Mitsuko gives off. It was fun.
  
  The video didn't do too hot in RICE, but it did receive two participant-given awards that made me cackle. I wish I could embed the images, but for now please use your imagination. From Cami it received "Best Use of Ao3 Tags", and from VideoBeats "Mommy? Sorry. Mommy?".
  
  Very special thanks to camichan19 and seasaltmemories for their feedback throughout this video. I couldn't change or implement everything you suggested, but this video wouldn't be the same without you two (and an extra thank you to seasalt for gifting me the term 'Ikuhara creep girly').
