  • Comments: Hello everyone. This is my first AMV here. Well, it's technically a GMV, but Genshin is very anime-inspired so I hope it counts. It may seem simple on the surface, but it contains my deep felt gratitude towards the game for opening me up to the open world format, as well as m love for its beautiful world design and story. As for tangible goals, I thought it would be fun to have every popular character appear (54 in total) that had been in the game before 3.0. I didn't think I'd actually make it, but I did!! So I'm very proud.

    On a side note, honestly, I've hesitated joining this forum in that past. This is mostly because when making AMVs, I've always wanted to follow my own ideas and image of what makes a "good" AMV, and I thought most other AMV folks would end up not really having the same vision, or push me to use a bunch of advanced techniques I hadn't learned yet, etc. I didn't want those reactions to change how I saw my AMVs and the love behind them.

    I'm finding though that I'm becoming more and more saddened by being unable to get the AMVs I put so much heart into noticed, either in contests or online, and it's started turning into resentment of the experts who were getting noticed instead of me. I don't want that to be how I see other people without giving anyone a chance, so I'm hoping with this first video, and more in the future, I can make understanding and supportive friends here who will help me see past the frustrating skill wall between me and the convention floor to the people who are just as passionate about anime and music as I am.

    It's alright if you think it's bad, or don't like it, or hate Genshin itself, but I hope you'll give this video I worked hard on a watch either way. Ideally though, I hope people who've never played Genshin will get to discover what a beautiful game it is after watching this, and people who do will reconnect with the reason you started playing in the first place.
