Comments: I'm not really sure what to say about this video other than the fact that I think it is inspired by the idea of a complicated relationship with parents. They had an image of someone they wanted me to be, and I fought with all my might to push the line between what they approved of and what I really wanted to do. The air can sometimes become so suffocatingly tense between my parents and me, but at the same time, I know they have their own reasons and upbringing that influence the way they act towards me. I could never hate them because their way of parenting made me who I am today. They are the only parents I have, and if I keep resenting them with the time that I have still have with them, I will surely regret it. In the end, I am grateful that they gave me the life that I have now, and I am learning every day how to better understand them. And maybe, just maybe, they might come to understand this part of my life as well.

So if any of you have weird relationships with your parents, you're not alone. But know that no matter what, they truly love you and want the best for you, even if it doesn't come out in the right way (unless your parents are hella abusive, in which case I will pray for you).
