There's a file on my desktop labeled "cozyland (July).mp4." Did I really knock out a rough draft of this almost nine months ago? The earliest version of this had a completely different opening sequence (the whole first minute, really) and a different ending. The changes I've slowly settled on over the course of several rough drafts certainly reshaped what's here but didn't really alter the overall feel I was going for. But I don't think I have to explain this one too much.
This is probably the only AMV anyone's ever edited to a Laid Back song, but I'd love to find out that I'm wrong about that. The concept here is probably obvious even before you see it, but I hope that it surpasses expectations. I know the whole opening sequence here is... not really my finest hour but I hope that it's more of a pleasant balm than a bore.
Trying to rein in some of my bad habits here, don't know if I succeeded or not but I am aware of what they are and how glaring they were in the earliest versions of this.
Hey Camp / Room Camp didn't have a single scene I could use here, believe me I watched it all.
Not a lot of Yuru Camp AMVs out there. Soltaru's "Nani mo Shinai Camp" still runs laps around this, though.
